Generational transition When change is radical, there is no generational transition. To believe that change is radical, is to believe that yesterday was completely bad, which means there was nothing good in it. It is like saying that life is black or white, but not gray. But the reality of life does not show this. Yesterday cannot be completely bad or completely good. It cannot be completely right or wrong. The history of yesterday is the history of people. The work of yesterday is the work of people. And people do right and wrong. They do good and bad. To believe in radical change is to deny or reject this basic human nature.
